David B. Deioma

Dave Deioma is a partner at Pearne & Gordon LLP. He has a full intellectual property practice, including interferences, appeals, and franchise work. Dave has had full responsibility for patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution, licensing, and litigation. Dave has also successfully tried judge and jury cases.

Prior to joining Pearne & Gordon LLP, Dave was a a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Dave established the David B. Deioma Intellectual Property Foundation at Case Western Reserve University. He is a member of Advisory Visiting Committees to Case Western Reserve University, Case School of Engineering. Dave is chairman of the Board, legal counsel, and majority shareholder of Sparkle International, Inc., a franchise company. He is holder of U.S. Design Patent No. 271,451 for a Ski Rack. He was also selected one of Cleveland's Ten Outstanding Young Men, 1973. He was president of Cleveland Jaycees, president of Ohio Venture Association, and was vice president of Association for Corporate Growth.

Dave is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association.
