Associate

Don is an associate at Pearne & Gordon LLP. He has experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications concerning a wide variety of electrical, chemical and mechanical technology, as well as preparing and prosecuting federal trademark applications.

In addition to his experience prosecuting patent and trademark applications, Don has rendered opinions addressing issues of patent infringement, patentability, and has counseled clients in the enforcement and general management of their intellectual property. He has also actively participated in successfully defending clients against allegations of patent infringement, and has authored various agreements including software development and license agreements, website development and hosting agreements, and confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements.

Don is currently a member of the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
