Charles B. Gordon

Retired

 

Charles B. Gordon  joined Pearne & Gordon LLP  in 1951 and  became a partner in 1953. His practice involved all areas of protection, use and licensing of intellectual property rights.  Mr. Gordon litigated numerous matters as principal plaintiff's counsel and principal defendant's counsel for both large and small companies in patent and trademark infringement actions.  His technical expertise includes web handling, web stock construction in the label, sign and industrial fields, flexible packaging, retroreflective materials, lubrication equipment, crop harvesting, instrumentation, non-destructive flaw detection, metal working, machine tools, small appliances, oil and gas heaters.

Prior to joining Pearne & Gordon LLP, Charles was a a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He also served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
